There are several food production areas within the village lands, and adjacent lands privately owned by some villagers.

The Common area already contains an orchard that is beginning to produce, as well as several raised garden beds for veggies.

The adjoining Te Mara Farm operation is currently owned privately by one of the villagers and is being developed for eventual integration into the village.

It is the future hope that Atamai Foods will distribute produce from the Atamai Village commons and Te Mara Farm to our members, as well as organising the bulk purchase of organic dry foods to provide healthy food and cost savings for our members.
